Matt Rentz is a multi-passionate creative with a unique blend of offerings. Originally an east-coaster spending the first half of his life in New York. He now lives in Longmont, CO and works at CU Boulder and Elite Massage Injury Rehab, where he provides therapeutic and holistic bodywork. He also operates a home studio for recording and music production Ámate Sounds, where he helps bring his own and others musical visions to life. Matt expresses his own artistic talents through his original music under the name Ámate (found on all streaming platforms) creating a truly diverse and creative presence. Matt has an intuitive gift for locating points of energy stagnation within the body. You can find him working at CU Boulder at the Wardenburg Health Center in the Orthopedics and Integrative Care department. Also at Elite Massage Injury Rehab. Trained in many modalities that inform his practice, he focuses on pain relief and management. Utilizing Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Mana Lomi, Trigger Point Therapy, Muscle Energy Techniques, Active Release Techniques, Cranial Sacral, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Reiki, Energy Techniques, Cupping Therapy and more.

Matt is a multi-instrumentalist musician, music producer, and recording engineer; releasing music under the name Ámate, which translates to “love yourself.” This name serves as a mantra and a reminder. This is the ethos, energy, and intention that Matt brings to his work and the work he does with others. He is passionate about helping his clients bring their ideas into the world and supporting them on the journey, wherever that may be. From those just taking the first steps to those further along on their journey needing an extra pair of ears to bring it home.
